Firstly, a huge thanks to all the lovely birthday messages from you all this week; also, I have some fantastic news….I was a GDP winner for the my Under the Sea box last week! I can’t tell you how thrilled I am; you will see a new awards section in my sidebar with my new badge of honor!
This week we are again following along with the GDP; this week is a CASE the designer! (Copy and Selectively Edit). Here is the gorgeous inspiration we had:
I decided to pick out each of the elements and place them into my card; here is what I came up with…
Firstly I picked out the circles, using both the designer window sheets and some gorgeous pearl accents on the birdcage and on the sentiment…
Then I picked out the lace element and tied up my birdcage using the antique lace trim…
Finally, I picked out the rustic elements and used that on the inside along with the flower; I made my own punch art mini succulent…
I picked out the calypso coral in the original flower for my pop of color in my card. I am really pleased with the result and can think of so many occasions I can use this for; and of course I love the added sparkle on the birds and succulent because we all need some shimmer in our lives! You can view everyone else’s entries and the inspiration from the GDP team by clicking here.
Of course, you need some instructions to make your own, here is a full tutorial:
